Calls to Action for Others

If you live in one of Edmonton’s other wards outside of O-day’min, we ask that you reach out to your city councillor to implore the City of Edmonton pursue our calls to action.

We’ve provided a step by step guide to help you identify and connect with your city councillor below. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions.

Step One:
Find Your Councillor

Start by clicking this link, inputting your address, and clicking “Find”.

Your ward number will be shown along with a button that reads “Contact Councillor.” Go ahead and click that.

Clicking will take you to a page that provides a profile of your city councillor. If you scroll down, you’ll see a map of your ward along with your councillor’s contact information.

Step Two:
Contact Your Councillor

Now that you’ve figured out who your city councillor is and how to contact them, it’s time to reach out and express your support for the people of Oliver to find a name that reflects their values, hopes, and dreams, and for the neighbourhood’s generational renewal or renaming every 30 years.

There are several ways you can do so–be sure to pick the method that works best for you.

Send an Email

Perhaps the most effective way to contact your city councillor is by expressing your perspective on the move to rename the Oliver neighbourhood in an email.

You’ll find your councillor’s email a little further down the page you came to in step one below the physical address.

Send a Letter

You also have the option of writing a letter and sending it by mail to your councillor. You’ll find their address further down the page you came to in step one.

Leave a Message

Alternatively, you can always call your councillor and leave a message.

Step Three:
Let Us Know!

This step is optional, but we’d love to hear from you if you’ve contacted your city councillor, whether it be by letter or phone, on social media.
